| The project, born in 2017 on the occasion of a workshop conducted within the festival “La Democrazia del Corpo” directed by Virgilio Sieni in Cango, originates from some reflections by Daniele Ninarello around different compositional and movement practices aimed at experimenting the continuous creation of a new space starting from the body.
This space is an outside in which all things happen simultaneously and we with them, and the only action of the body is its total willingness to let itself be moved by the things that happen around it, orienting itself among them through its own deductions and intuitions. Primitive Accomodation tries to discover what animates the body in its desire to constantly find a new unity with the outside, questioning the restlessness that generates displacement and the need for a new place to be, and in this new unity find itself in an ancient and primitive dimension. The performance reflects on the nomadic and at the same time sedentary nature of the human figure, observing how in our infinite pursuit we are moved by the desire for a primitive warmth, for a return to the origin. |
